What you'll do
Design, develop, and deploy data pipeline, storage, and query infrastructure: supporting autonomous driving training and evaluation;
Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code to ensure robust software performance;
Participate in peer code reviews to uphold engineering standards and drive: continuous improvement in development practices;
Enhance existing systems for greater performance, scalability, and: reliability across large-scale applications;
Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues while providing technical support to internal users; and
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product: managers, and engineers to align data solutions with simulation, planning, perception, and commercialization needs.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information: Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or or in a Software Engineering related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering related occupation.
- Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: data structures and algorithms to optimize backend software performance and efficiency;
- backend systems and infrastructures for large-scale software applications;
- large-scale distributed systems and data processing frameworks;
