What you'll do
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across key global accounting: areas, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong control execution.
Lead and develop a small team; set clear expectations, coach through the: work, and raise the bar on ownership and review quality.
Lead the adoption of AI and automation across your core close areas: leveraging tools like Databricks to automate manual calculations, improve accrual accuracy, accelerate balance sheet reconciliations, and reduce close cycle times
Apply strong U.S. GAAP judgment to complex close areas, especially cloud: infrastructure spend, vendor spend, usage-based accruals, capitalization considerations, fixed assets, leases, cash, and other accounting areas
Own balance sheet integrity for your areas, including reconciliations, flux: analysis, variance explanations, and support for period-over-period movements.
Standardize and govern global accounting processes across your areas,: ensuring consistency across entities and regions.
What they're looking for
- Partner with our Finance Transformation team to redesign processes, reduce: manual work, improve data quality, and accelerate the close.
- Strengthen SOX compliance, documentation, reconciliations, journal entries, and accrual support.
- Support external audit requests for your areas with timely, well-supported documentation.
- Play a key Accounting role in the SAP implementation, partnering on process: design, testing, data readiness, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization for your areas.
