What you'll do

  • Work with hardware engineering teams and suppliers to obtain harness relevant data

  • Create and maintain 2D Drawings

  • Select wire to terminal crimp combination

  • Work with schematic and mechanical team to develop harness portioning based on best practices and to ease

  • general assembly process

  • Ensure DT is translated to Schematics and 2D drawing

What they're looking for

  • Work with mechanical engineering teams on harness drawings, solving package issues and finalizing connector
  • Maintain component library (terminals, connectors, cables, wires, etc.)
  • Merge harness schematics with 3D designs into a consistent data set that we submit to harness manufacturers
  • Implement and conduct data quality checks
