What you'll do
Partner with engineers and platform teams to define commodity strategy, align: multi-year technology roadmaps, and maintain approved vendor lists for HBM, DDR5, server DRAM, SSDs, and next-generation solutions
Orchestrate demand forecasting and allocation across SpaceXAI companies to: ensure balanced supply support for all programs
Own global sourcing, including supplier qualification, multi-sourcing: strategies, and performance management to meet build schedules and reduce lead times
Negotiate agreements focused on competitive pricing, volume commitments, and: preferential allocation, using creative approaches where needed to secure supply at reasonable cost
Align internal roadmaps with key vendors and collaborate on capacity planning and technology development
Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans to protect build schedules
What they're looking for
- Drive cost reduction through should-cost analysis, long-term agreements, and: value engineering while meeting quality and reliability requirements
- Build strong supplier relationships through regular reviews and joint projects
- Track KPIs for cost, quality, delivery, and resilience; report progress to leadership
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience working in one or more of the: following; or 12+ years of experience working in one or more of the following in lieu of a degree: Business
