What you'll do
Solve complex component/system level problems using standard problem-solving techniques
Data driven proactive problem solving, root cause analysis & issue avoidance: due to process deviations or critical part quality issues
Establish technical depth to troubleshoot Thermal System/HVAC components/sub-assemblies
Responsible for design intent assembly requirements for Thermal System/HVAC: assembly & associated enforcement on the line in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
Support new product launches, execute part concession deviations for E-Motor: assembly in the manufacturing plant
Support high volume production ramp activities pertaining to product engineering activities
What they're looking for
- Advice on build process development and possible improvements for high volume production lines
- Close collaboration with supplier facing teams for all off-the shelf thermal: system components for issue management & resolution
- Lead product change management to address known product compatibility issues: for high volume production or known product design issues in production in close collaboration with cross-functional teams where appropriate
- BS in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering disciplines with 8+ years of: automotive experience in design and release of vehicle attributes
