What you'll do
Lead and continuously improve APQP activities with suppliers from initial: design release through PPAP approval and start of production.
Drive supplier readiness to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, timing, and capacity objectives.
Support new product launches and production ramp readiness activities across global suppliers.
Ensure parts and processes achieve required maturity levels throughout: development and industrialization phases.
Lead Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/A) reviews to ensure: manufacturing requirements are incorporated early in product development.
Collaborate with Design Engineering teams to define quality expectations and: improve manufacturability of chassis components.
What they're looking for
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Automotive industry experience supporting chassis systems and components.
- Expertise in one or more of the following manufacturing processes: Axle Assemblies
- Metal Forming
- Experience supporting chassis systems including: Braking Systems
- Suspension Systems
- Vehicle Structures
- Driveline Systems
