What you'll do
Design, test, and validation of proximity sensors for our autonomous vehicles.
Vehicle-level integrations and complete lifecycle design from concept through production.
Full cycle PCB design including establishing or collecting requirements,: schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug and integration with the system.
Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment.
Provide support and collaborate within other air vehicle subsystem development constraints.
Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing for system components.
What they're looking for
- Performed environmental testing in previous positions for military and/or commercial industry.
- Previous experience designing and testing height of burst sensors for ordnance fuzing applications.
- Previous experience designing and testing ordnance fuzing systems.
- Experience in UAS, missiles, or maritime programs.
- Experience with the DoD Weapons Safety Boards.
- Experience designing and scaling production of components at volume.
- Experience developing or testing complex electrical systems.
- Experience with MIL-STD-1316, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-2105.
