What they're looking for

  • Extensive backend engineering expertise, ideally within JVM-based ecosystems: (Kotlin or Java), coupled with a strong grasp of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • A proven track record of designing and operating highly scalable,: event-driven systems using messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
  • Strong ability to work fluidly across team boundaries, translating complex: business or operational requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
  • Solid understanding of modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) and: observability practices, with the capacity to establish and advocate for tribe-wide standards.
