What you'll do
Work directly with customers and customer-facing teams to understand unmet: needs, test assumptions and identify opportunities worth pursuing. Agree on success measures with Product and Design before investing in a solution.
Lead ambiguous initiatives end to end, from discovery and prototypes through: production rollout, adoption and iteration. Use customer feedback and product data to decide what to improve, expand or stop.
Write and ship code on the critical path. Work across services, APIs and: customer-facing experiences as the problem requires, combining technical depth with the ability to learn unfamiliar parts of the product.
Set technical direction for your area and align the teams needed to deliver: it. Make pragmatic architecture choices that support rapid learning today and reliable growth over time.
Own the production quality of what you build. Design for correctness,: reliability and performance, plan safe rollouts, and use operational evidence to address the constraints that emerge as usage grows.
Increase the effectiveness of the engineers around you through design and: code reviews, mentoring senior engineers, and removing recurring obstacles to delivery. Share context and decisions so others can move independently.
