What you'll do
Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for the platform,: Robinhood's tier zero order processing and account management system
Lead and develop a team of 10+ engineers at various levels, coaching and: mentoring emerging leaders, setting a high technical bar, and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability
Drive modernization initiatives including and resolving core storage bottlenecks
Own reliability and uptime KPIs: including SLOs for subsecond order latency, high availability, capacity planning, and rapid incident recovery during high-volume trading events
Collaborate across infrastructure and product teams to enforce reliability: standards and align on technical direction
Proactively identify scalability and reliability risks, champion preventative: solutions, and coordinate fast, effective incident response
