What you'll do
Implement complex system models integrating mechanical, thermal, chemical,: and control theories in custom software
Design and implement control algorithms that optimize plant operations
Own and maintain controls-plant model software in the loop tests
Navigate cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Integrate live factory data into models to detect equipment anomalies
Optimize plant efficiency through modeling support
What they're looking for
- Apply knowledge of motors, pumps, sensors, actuators, and thermodynamic: systems to accurately model plant behavior
- Design high-level control strategies informed by simulation and data analytics
- M.S. in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
- + years in Systems Design Engineering and first-principles modeling, preferably with multi-physics simulations
