Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.

What you'll do

  • Implement complex system models integrating mechanical, thermal, chemical,: and control theories in custom software

  • Design and implement control algorithms that optimize plant operations

  • Own and maintain controls-plant model software in the loop tests

  • Navigate cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

  • Integrate live factory data into models to detect equipment anomalies

  • Optimize plant efficiency through modeling support

What they're looking for

  • Apply knowledge of motors, pumps, sensors, actuators, and thermodynamic: systems to accurately model plant behavior
  • Design high-level control strategies informed by simulation and data analytics
  • M.S. in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
  • + years in Systems Design Engineering and first-principles modeling, preferably with multi-physics simulations
