What you'll do
Solve customer challenges across architecture, performance, recovery, and security
Lead investigations from diagnosis to resolution, providing clear, actionable guidance
Partner with Product Management and Engineering to advocate for customers and improve MongoDB
Build tools, documentation, and training while mentoring peers and raising technical excellence
–6 years of experience in technical support, systems engineering, database: administration, SRE, or a related field
Experience running complex, mission-critical production database systems
What they're looking for
- Strong Linux and systems engineering skills, including performance, memory,: I/O, storage, networking, security, clustering, and troubleshooting
- A solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS
- Ability to read code and write basic scripts in one or more languages, such: as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, C++, or Ruby
- Experience analysing issues across the application, database, operating: system, storage, and infrastructure layers
