What you'll do
Design and implement metrics, test plans, and simulated scenarios for: testing the autonomous vehicle in off-nominal situations, such as after a fault occurs or when remote assistance is needed, across multiple platforms and in support of rapid commercialization
Create dashboards to monitor, visualize, and analyze fleet-wide autonomous vehicle fault rates on public roads
Support the Verification and Validation (V&V) of Fault Protection and Remote Assistance behaviors.
Build automated pipelines using Python and SQL to update, version, and: validate test coverage across safety-critical driving scenarios.
Currently enrolled in a MS program in an engineering, computer science, or a related technical field of study
Enthusiasm to understand a complex system and its various components
What they're looking for
- Experience with data analysis/modeling using Python and SQL
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology and systems engineering principles.
- Comfortable with ambiguous problems in a fast paced environment.
