Perform various GL month-end close activities
Prepare journal entries and related account reconciliations
What they're looking for
- Develop relationships and work effectively with teams outside of accounting: including procure-to-pay, treasury, payroll, sales compensation, order-to-cash, supply chain, among others
- Demonstrate extreme ownership of assigned accounts which may include, among: others, inventory, deferred commissions, marketable securities and investments, complex bank account arrangements, and accounts payable and accounts receivable related accounts
- Help implement process improvements by identifying weaknesses in the close process
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on: Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
