What you'll do
Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice across procurement,: partnerships, product, and regulatory teams globally, including on our contracting principles, commercial projects, and legal and regulatory compliance within our vendor and partner contracts.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial agreements.
Proactively problem solve for emerging legal and operational risks, providing: risk-based decisions on complex legal issues and proposing improvements to mitigate future exposure.
Advising on early-stage disputes, managing initial phases of legal conflicts,: and providing counsel on complex legal interpretations.
Drive legal automation efforts and process improvements to help scale our: team and bring greater efficiency to the negotiation process.
Work autonomously in a cross-functional manner.
What they're looking for
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, leaders, and stakeholders across the company.
- + years of legal experience, in house or at a law firm including strong: commercial contracting and/or other transactional experience to compliment your solid understanding of contract law principles.
- Clear communicator who ensures your stakeholders understand the purpose and reasoning behind decisions.
- Solid people skills and work well with a variety of internal and external: stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures.
