The opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented, strategic team player to join as a Benefits Manager on Asana’s People Team. In this role, you will design and scale foundational benefits programs that drive consistency, well-being, and equity across our North America organization.
What you'll do
Partner with the Head of Global Benefits to own the strategy, design, and: execution of high-impact benefits programs across the U.S. and Canada.
Shape Benefits Strategy: Design and continuously improve the overall experience, communications, and delivery of benefits programs, maximizing employee well-being and reducing friction for all Asanas.
Manage Vendor and Broker Relationships: Own relationships with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement programs, leading renewals and ongoing performance management.
Serve as the Benefits Systems Expert: Establish yourself as the administrator for our benefits administration platform, advising People Ops and cross-functional teams on strategy for enrollment, data integrity, governance, reporting, and process optimization.
Build Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with stakeholders in People Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to integrate benefits into the end-to-end employee lifecycle and lead cross-functional change initiatives.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain deep working knowledge of relevant regulations (including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, and state-specific leave laws), ensuring programs and plan documents remain compliant.
