What you'll do
Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout the: entire mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace,: industrial, and commercial projects
Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors: across multiple disciplines through contract close-out
Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time
Coordinate with the electrical utility provider on design and engineering to: ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and internal stakeholders
What they're looking for
- Track and approve contractor invoicing
- Ensure contractors adhere to site safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Manage night shift and early morning contractors as project needs dictate
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management: with 3+ years of experience working in the field on construction projects, or 7+ years of equivalent professional experience in construction, engineering, or facilities management in lieu of a degree
