What you'll do
Coordinate facilities projects to ensure vendors meet standards while: delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship
Plan and direct construction activities of internal resources as well as all: involved subcontractors for each phase of construction and lead any coordination meetings between trades
Work hand-in-hand with the Texas Construction Projects team to maintain: accurate records of daily logs, progress reports, and financial reports related to the construction of facilities
Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate any discrepancies
Approve work being performed by subcontractors and handle any related issues
Authorize payments to subcontractors upon thorough inspection of work
What they're looking for
- Maintain a safe work site by implementing safety requirements, enforcing safe: work habits, and observing OSHA requirements and any applicable agency regulations
- Verify all checklists are complete and inspections are scheduled and passed
- Monitor cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up
- Schedule and manage subcontractors to make designated warranty repairs
