What you'll do
Manage and coordinate ticket system requests for paint projects across the: site to ensure timely and quality execution of work
Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch, and paint steel surfaces, buildings, and: fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat-resistant finishes
Tape, float, paint, and repair wall finishes and apply texture
Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment, including brushes,: rollers, sprayers, electrostatic sprayers, and pumps
Safely store and label all materials on a daily basis
Erect scaffolding, rigging, and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes
What they're looking for
- Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely
- Apply finishes to a wide variety of surfaces
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- + years of experience as a painter in a residential, commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment
