The opportunity

Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing: equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.

  • Fabricate, modify, and upgrade electrical control panels in accordance with: engineering specifications and safety standards.

  • Perform field wiring of instrumentation and motor controls to ensure proper: installation and optimal system functionality.

  • Conduct and document maintenance calibrations, installations, fault: diagnosis, and repairs on electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

  • Interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical documentation to: perform advanced troubleshooting and system analysis.

  • Support equipment commissioning, process improvements, and system upgrades: alongside cross-functional engineering and operations teams.

What they're looking for

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including updates to control: logic, wiring diagrams, and calibration data while adhering to safety and compliance protocols.
  • + years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, controls, or: instrumentation within a manufacturing or process environment.
  • Proven proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial sensors.
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
