What you'll do
Take ownership of Adyen’s disputes end to end, advising the business on: commercial outcomes and finding pragmatic solutions to challenges as they arise.
Manage disputes across multiple jurisdictions, applying and coordinating: advice under New York, Dutch, and other relevant laws as Adyen’s operations require.
Instruct, oversee, and manage external counsel, keeping matters on strategy,: on budget, and moving towards resolution.
Partner with teams across the business to resolve disputes and remove friction before it escalates.
Once a matter concludes, work with the business to close out risk areas and: feed lessons learned back into how Adyen contracts and operates.
Apply AI actively in your work, using Adyen's tools to sharpen and scale how: the Dispute Resolution pillar operates.
What they're looking for
- Support the broader Corporate Legal team on projects and initiatives spanning: corporate governance, corporate development, and cross-functional priorities.
- Stay abreast of global legal developments relevant to Adyen, proactively: identifying risk and advising the business on how to mitigate it.
- You are admitted to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
