What you'll do
Navigate the complex landscape of customs regulations and ensure that all: goods comply with international protocols and legal requirements
Obtain necessary documents and provide complete and accurate information to: CBP to facilitate smooth customs clearance
Collaborate with international clients and logistics partners to provide them: with timely and accurate customs advice and support
Optimize customs processes using Flexport's proprietary technology, providing: insights and data-driven recommendations to our clients
You will be responsible for ensuring your work satisfies internal key: performance indicators that demonstrate quality and timeliness.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and improve processes as needed
What they're looking for
- Participate in business reviews on a regular cadence including presentation: prep as well as hold client operational calls when deemed necessary
- At least 1 year experience as a Customs Entry Writer
- Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations, classifications, and rulings
- A "compliance-first" mindset, with a commitment to maintaining the highest: standards of integrity and regulatory adherence
