The opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist. This role is responsible for assisting clients with entry-related inquiries, processing import documentation, and ensuring compliance with U.
What you'll do
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding U.S. Customs: brokerage services, including entry documentation, shipment status, and basic compliance inquiries.
Prepare, review, and process import documentation in accordance with U.S.: Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, internal SOPs, and client specific requirements.
Monitor and adapt to ongoing tariff changes and regulatory updates, ensuring: entries are processed correctly and escalated when necessary.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, compliance, accounting, and: carriers) to resolve routine shipment issues and avoid clearance delays.
Maintain accurate, well-organized records of entries, client communications,: and supporting documentation in accordance with audit and retention requirements.Provide timely and professional shipment updates, status reports, and issue notifications to clients.
Demonstrate self-reliance by independently researching routine questions,: reviewing regulations, and utilizing internal resources before escalating issues. Identify potential entry discrepancies or compliance risks and promptly escalate to senior team members or compliance when appropriate.

- High school diploma or equivalent
