What you'll do
Operate commercial vehicles for local and short-haul dedicated routes: originating from the Rocket Motor Systems facility in McHenry, MS
Safely transport DG and non-DG materials including chemicals, hazardous: substances, rocket motor components, live motors, parts, tooling, and other sensitive items on and off site
Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle and cargo: inspections per DOT, FMCSA, and Anduril standards
Ensure all shipments are properly packaged, marked, labeled, placarded, and: documented in accordance with 49 CFR, and company requirements
Load and unload vehicles using proper techniques; secure loads with approved: blocking, bracing, and tie-down methods suitable for live motors and hazardous cargo
When applicable, verify dispatch tickets, shipping papers, & Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
What they're looking for
- Comply with all hours-of-service regulations, vehicle weight limits, route: restrictions, and hazardous materials transport rules
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, spills, or incidents following company: and regulatory emergency response procedures
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required documentation
- Coordinate closely with logistics, shipping/receiving, engineering, and: operations teams for timely on/off-site movements
