What you'll do
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy tailored for Flexport's Omni: (fulfillment) operations, aligning with business objectives and growth plans.
Lead the strategic transition from a temporary to a full-time workforce: across all fulfillment centers, including legal compliance, policy development, talent acquisition, and employee integration.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing HR team across multiple: geographically dispersed fulfillment center locations.
Ensure robust multi-state compliance for all HR policies, practices, and: programs, mitigating risk in a heavily regulated environment and manage claims and adherence to the policies.
Partner effectively with Operations leadership to drive talent management,: workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management initiatives.
Champion and drive culture, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion: initiatives across the Omni network.
What they're looking for
- Proven experience leading HR functions in multi-site, large-scale operational: environments (e.g., fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing).
- Deep expertise in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee: relations for large non-exempt workforces.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling HR capabilities in new regions or rapidly expanding organizations.
- Strong knowledge of US labor laws, claim management, and multi-state: compliance requirements, particularly in states like NJ, WI, TX, GA, and CA.
