What you'll do
Provide crucial technical expertise, introduce new best practices to the: team, drive consistency across all teams, and help prioritize features to increase our client impact
Drive the strategy, architecture, and execution of end-to-end systems,: working directly with client stakeholders and our internal delivery teams
Able to step in to represent your Director or Mission in technical leadership: discussions and decision in front of other leaders and cross-functional partners
Partner with delivery and executive stakeholders to scope, design, and lead: implementation of AI-driven solutions
Foster external relationships and presence, helping to build our employment brand as a talent attractor
Work collaboratively with other engineers, product managers, and designers
What they're looking for
- Minimum of 7 years of professional hands-on experience
- Demonstrable experience leading engineers without formal direct reporting relationships
- Expertise in either Ruby on Rails or React; we expect staff candidates to: leverage a diverse skill set beyond these tools
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Experience proactively collaborating across different engineering teams
- Experience working with complicated systems at scale
- Experience building APIs and/or webhooks
