What you'll do
Support the on-site installation, quality assurance, functional checkout,: testing, and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure - including medium/low voltage switchgear, power transformers, switchboards, protection and control, UPS systems, and electrical equipment internal to the data center.
Monitor the deployment of advanced power backup and conditioning systems,: including medium voltage UPS, backup generators, and BESS.
Support and direct involvement in substation protection system management
Technical support for RFI process
Technical support for temporary power and electrical switching
Track construction progress against project milestones and ensure adherence: to Basis of Design and engineering specifications - without compromising speed.
What they're looking for
- Support rapid resolution of RFIs (Requests for Information) and Field: Engineering Directives (FEDs) between the contractors and the internal design team.
- Own critical lessons learned and field service bulletins that have design: ramifications, so that they can be carried back into specs and templating
- Support all levels 1-5 of commissioning activities in partnership with: Crusoe’s Cx team, reviewing commissioning documents for technical accuracy and assurance of design intent met
- Be an electrical safety champion in partnership with Crusoe’s construction partners
