What you'll do
Perform preventive maintenance on paint shop electrical systems including: motors, drives, panels, sensors, actuators, and power distribution equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in conveyors, spray booths, ovens,: robots, pumps, fans, and utility systems.
Identify and rectify issues related to cables, connectors, relays, contactors, VFDs, and safety circuits.
Support predictive maintenance through insulation resistance testing, thermal: scanning, and condition monitoring.
Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to restore equipment safely and minimize production downtime.
Use electrical drawings, schematics, IO lists, and manuals to diagnose faults.
What they're looking for
- Coordinate with automation and mechanical maintenance teams for integrated troubleshooting.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and panels.
- Support electrical modifications, upgrades, and retrofits approved by engineering.
