What you'll do
Maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors,: and customers and following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identifying and communicating workplace hazards and correcting or seeking assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Lead equipment and yard operations, including allocation, warehousing,: inventory control, yard management, and transport coordination to support operational needs
Manage and develop staff through recruitment, training, performance: management, workforce planning, and employee relations
Oversee equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment,: maintenance planning, utilization, replacement, and disposal
Ensure equipment reliability through preventive maintenance programs and: coordination of repairs, minimizing downtime and service disruptions
Manage yard operations and inventory levels to ensure efficient organization, flow, and equipment availability
What they're looking for
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis
- Lead procurement and vendor management, including sourcing, contracting, and: performance oversight to optimize cost and service
- Track and report equipment performance, utilization, costs, and KPIs to: support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Maintain equipment rates, lifecycle costing, and financial reporting: structures for internal billing and planning
