What you'll do
Provide daily coordination to contractors working across the entire facility: and coordinate critical path work to maintain project schedules
Plan construction activities with facility operators to avoid delays to facility operations
Perform daily inspection and verification of contractors’ progress and: observe critical operations to ensure quality
Provide site layout to contractors and record as-built information with GPS: and total station equipment, hire and manage independent surveyors as needed
Ensure contractors follow site and OSHA safety standards while performing work
Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and internal clients to: develop project requirements, schedules, and cost estimates before project implementation
What they're looking for
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time
- Safely and efficiently operate earthmoving equipment to support various: infrastructure projects across the site including streets and drainage construction/maintenance, utility installation, commercials pads, etc.(operating the heavy equipment will be a large part of this role in addition to the project coordination and oversight responsibilities)
- BS in construction or engineering with 2+ years of experience working in the: field on construction projects (5+ total years of commercial construction field engineering experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
- + years of experience operating earth-moving/heavy equipment
