The opportunity
We are looking for a high-performing Accountant with strong technical accounting fundamentals and a finance transformation mindset . Beyond core accounting and reporting, you will help transform Finance through AI, automation, data and technology , improving efficiency, controls, scalability and decision-making.
What you'll do
Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting and statutory reporting .
Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts and management reports .
Perform and review revenue, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations .
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements .
Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external advisors .
Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify and transform finance processes .
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- + years' relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting or finance transformation.
- Strong technical accounting, analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Experience in finance transformation, automation or consulting is highly preferred.
- Strong interest in AI, GenAI, automation, data and emerging finance technologies .
- Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP, BI, workflow automation or financial systems experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment .
