The opportunity
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
What you'll do
Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting KYC: verification, identity authentication, and compliance workflows.
Lead the architecture and implementation of high-performance distributed: systems capable of processing millions of global user verification requests.
Build and optimise risk assessment pipelines and case management systems supporting compliance operations.
Develop and maintain internal tooling and dashboards using React and: TypeScript when needed, with a primary focus on backend engineering.
Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate with: third-party KYC/AML vendors and internal data sources.
Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions, with emphasis on: backend, data processing, AI integration and security.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- + years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus.
- Solid backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot), Go, or similar backend technologies.
- Experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM-powered tools into production: systems — including model serving, inference pipelines, or AI-assisted automation workflows.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices at scale.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, caching technologies, message: queues and distributed system fundamentals.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
