What you'll do

  • Act as Stripe’s Global Partnerships Lead for Greater China, Hong Kong, and: Singapore , with end-to-end accountability for the regional partnership portfolio.

  • Set and execute the regional strategy across local payment methods, financial: partners, card networks, banks, and expansion partners.

  • Lead Stripe’s senior external relationships in the region, building alignment: and representing Stripe’s strategic priorities with partners.

  • Own partnership opportunities from market assessment and strategy through: negotiation, contracting, onboarding, launch, governance, and performance management.

  • Lead regional expansion-partnership strategy and execution, coordinating the: partnerships required to establish, operate, and scale Stripe in-market.

  • Translate market intelligence, partner priorities, and ecosystem developments: into clear recommendations for Stripe’s product and business strategy.

What they're looking for

  • + years of experience in partnerships, business development, corporate: development, strategy, financial services, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in payments, fintech, ecommerce, banking, card: networks, local payment methods, or adjacent financial-services sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, strategic commercial negotiations with senior external stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of the payments and financial-partnership landscape in Greater: China, Hong Kong, and/or Singapore, including relevant market dynamics and business models.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and English executive communication skills and: business-level Mandarin proficiency, written and spoken as this role would require working closely with our users and partners in the Greater China region.
  • Strong ability to develop a clear point of view amid ambiguity, influence: without authority, and drive decisions across complex internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering organizations on: partnerships with meaningful technical, operational, and regulatory dependencies.
  • Ability to operate autonomously while balancing multiple high-priority: initiatives and long-term strategic relationships.
