The opportunity

What you'll do

  • Own the global community strategy and operating model: the audience thesis, the portfolio of programs, and what's built centrally vs. run in-region

  • Lead, coach, and scale a global team of program and regional owners; hire the: gaps, set the bar, and develop community-native operators

  • Define the measurement framework that replaces activity metrics: partner with Product and Data Science to define success metrics and segment the base (non-user → occasional → high-value daily) — with recurring retained users and product adoption as the top-line outcomes

  • Build community across the full range of audiences and seniority levels, with: programs and voice tuned to each without fragmenting the experience

  • Connect bottoms-up adoption to enterprise expansion: architect the champions, train-the-trainer, and partner ecosystem motions that turn power users inside accounts into org-wide adoption, and integrate them into how Sales and CS run strategic account plans

  • Bring training, certification, enablement, and community help together into: one engine that scales through champions and partners — so users experience a single path to skill-building with Claude

What they're looking for

  • Partner tightly with Brand and Comms to keep sentiment and awareness healthy:: define where community shows up in Anthropic's brand and how we best serve our users
  • Align community strategy proactively with product direction, launches, and: pricing & packaging — owning community's job pre-launch, at launch, and post-launch, and proving it drives value for our users
  • Have built and led a community or customer advocacy function at a company: where community was a growth lever, not a cost center — and can point to the retention, adoption, or expansion outcomes it drove
  • Have led and developed a distributed team of program owners and regional: leads accountable for commercial impact
