What you'll do
Performs preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance on: HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial/industrial chiller systems.
Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains chillers, chilled-water: systems, cooling towers, pumps, piping, valves, and associated mechanical equipment.
Monitors equipment performance and operating conditions to identify potential: issues and prevent system failures.
Services HVAC electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems,: including Building Automation Systems (BAS), Direct Digital Controls (DDC), sensors, actuators, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Performs refrigerant recovery, leak detection, evacuation, charging, and: system testing in accordance with EPA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and established procedures.
Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and develops recommendations for repairs,: upgrades, modifications, or replacement to improve system reliability and energy efficiency.
What they're looking for
- Responds to service calls, equipment failures, and emergency maintenance: requirements within contractually established response times.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, electrical and mechanical schematics,: technical manuals, equipment documentation, and manufacturer specifications.
- Assists with equipment installation, replacement, startup, testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintains accurate maintenance records, service reports, inspection: documentation, and other required work-order information.
