What you'll do
Read and interpret engineering blueprints and work instructions
Install new production support equipment, ground support equipment, and/or launch support equipment
Maintain and install all electrical, mechanic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Inspect and assess functionality of critical facility systems (cranes,: elevators, compressed air, and overhead doors)
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns of overhead cranes, overhead doors, and air compressors
Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
What they're looking for
- Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks
- Source replacement parts and liaison with vendors
- Communicate and schedule production impacts with the production team
