The opportunity
We’re GitLab’s Growth team: one team with one roadmap, prioritizing work by how directly it helps people buy. We work fully remotely and asynchronously across multiple regions, guided by GitLab’s values of transparency and iteration.
What you'll do
Design, build, and iterate on A/B tests and experiments that increase first: purchases on GitLab.com and self-managed GitLab.
Build and improve registration, trial, onboarding, and in-product upgrade and: purchase experiences to increase completion of these steps.
Implement backend features and services in Ruby on Rails and frontend experiences using Vue.js.
Analyze experiment results and product usage data with Data Analysts to: decide which changes to keep, iterate on, or roll back based on first-purchase outcomes.
Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to define hypotheses and: success metrics before shipping experiments, then compare results against those metrics.
Maintain and improve our experimentation framework and tooling to increase: experiment throughput and reduce the time from setup to results.
What they're looking for
- Collaborate with other Engineering teams, including Fulfillment, to remove: purchase barriers across GitLab’s codebase.
- Document decisions, review code, and share experiment results asynchronously: so distributed teammates can track shipped changes and their measured outcomes.
