What you'll do

• Create, revise, and maintain IPD, WDM and ICA documents for aircraft interior products.

• Develop illustrations and technical graphics to support documentation.

• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, Bills of Material (BOM), and change: orders to extract and organize component data.

• Convert complex 3D CAD models or 2D engineering sketches into 2D line art, exploded views, and schematics.

• Ensure proper sequencing of assemblies, list line-replaceable units, and: update suitable interchangeable or substitute part numbers.

• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to verify the accuracy of the parts data

What they're looking for

• Military exposure and experience, particularly with military technical: documentation writing and formatting standards, guidelines, and verbiage (MIL-STD-40051, S1000D, Etc.)
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with emphasis on technical subjects
• Passion for excellent documentation and user experience
• Previous experience creating technical documentation in Aerospace and Defense (for DoD)
• Experience delivering content on fast-paced, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
