The opportunity
As Junior Sourcing Manager , you’ll join our international Procurement team. The team brings new ingredients to life for millions of HelloFresh meals across Europe.
What you'll do
Manage new ingredient requests from first idea to launch, coordinating: between our culinary, product, supply chain and procurement teams.
Find and assess suppliers for new ingredients, request and compare offers, and support supplier onboarding.
Work with Food Safety & Quality and culinary teams to fine-tune ingredient: specifications, balancing cost, quality and performance.
Review new ingredient proposals to spot opportunities to use existing: products or suppliers from other markets, supporting our Category Managers with cost savings.
Use data and Generative AI tools to analyse supplier offers, costs and market: trends, and turn your findings into clear recommendations.
Keep local and international stakeholders aligned on project progress, and: take on more ownership of projects and supplier relationships as you grow.
What they're looking for
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, for example in business, supply chain, engineering, or food science.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain or a related field. Exposure to the food industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build relationships with: suppliers and colleagues across teams, countries and functions.
