What you'll do

• Own communications architecture across BLOS, LOS, and acoustic domains

• Drive antenna and transducer selection, integration, and qualification

• Define link budgets, data rates, latency requirements, and waveform selection

• Own SATCOM integration for beyond-line-of-sight C2

• Lead acoustic communications design for submerged operations

• Define LOS RF solutions for surface and near-surface operations

What they're looking for

• Experience with maritime or subsea communications systems
• Working knowledge of acoustic modem technology and underwater communications
• Experience with SATCOM terminal integration (Iridium, MUOS, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with COMSEC and communications security requirements
• Experience in defense or maritime robotics
