What you'll do
Provide day-to-day technical direction, coaching, and task coordination for: Field Quality Technicians supporting vehicle investigations and validation activities.
Prioritize assignments based on customer impact, safety, business urgency,: vehicle availability, and investigation needs.
Coordinate vehicle, parts, tools, equipment, and technician readiness for planned investigations.
Review technical work for completeness, accuracy, quality, safety, and adherence to approved procedures.
Escalate technical risks, resource constraints, and investigation blockers to Field Quality leadership.
Support onboarding, technical development, and knowledge sharing across the technician team.
What they're looking for
- ASE certification; ASE Master Technician certification is highly desirable.
- EPA Section 609 certification.
- Previous OEM Master Technician certification.
- Extensive experience with electric vehicle diagnosis and repair.
- Working knowledge of CAN bus, automotive Ethernet, vehicle communication: protocols, data logging, and software troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting engineering investigations, vehicle testing, launch,: warranty, campaigns, or field quality activities.
- Experience training or mentoring automotive technicians.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
