What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end response to law enforcement and government requests for: user data, from intake and validation through production and closeout, including subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, preservation letters, and emergency disclosure requests from domestic and foreign authorities

  • Prepare and execute data productions: scoping, data retrieval, coordination with counsel, and eventual production

  • Handle foreign and cross-border process, including MLATs and letters: rogatory, and manage escalations across jurisdictions

  • Handle civil third-party subpoenas and preservation demands

  • Maintain expertise in where user data lives across Anthropic's product: surfaces and operate the internal data retrieval tooling

  • Run and improve the law enforcement response process and tooling

What they're looking for

  • + years of experience in legal operations, business/operations management, or: a paralegal role in an in-house legal department
  • + years of experience at a high-growth technology company, with exposure to: the legal challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies
  • Experience building or scaling a law enforcement response process
  • Experience managing legal intake process within a growing company
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively, adapting to new: challenges and finding practical solutions to complex legal issues
  • Familiarity with legal project management software such as Asana, Trello, or: Jira, and a willingness to learn and adopt new tools to streamline legal processes
