What you'll do
Own the end-to-end response to law enforcement and government requests for: user data, from intake and validation through production and closeout, including subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, preservation letters, and emergency disclosure requests from domestic and foreign authorities
Prepare and execute data productions: scoping, data retrieval, coordination with counsel, and eventual production
Handle foreign and cross-border process, including MLATs and letters: rogatory, and manage escalations across jurisdictions
Handle civil third-party subpoenas and preservation demands
Maintain expertise in where user data lives across Anthropic's product: surfaces and operate the internal data retrieval tooling
Run and improve the law enforcement response process and tooling
What they're looking for
- + years of experience in legal operations, business/operations management, or: a paralegal role in an in-house legal department
- + years of experience at a high-growth technology company, with exposure to: the legal challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies
- Experience building or scaling a law enforcement response process
- Experience managing legal intake process within a growing company
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively, adapting to new: challenges and finding practical solutions to complex legal issues
- Familiarity with legal project management software such as Asana, Trello, or: Jira, and a willingness to learn and adopt new tools to streamline legal processes
