What you'll do

  • Execute precise electromechanical assembly of flight and development avionics: hardware, including the fitting and integration of PCBAs, torquing, sealing, alignment, harness routing, thermal interface installation, and enclosure assembly to deliver fully integrated avionics units.

  • Prepare, clean, and handle components per strict military and aerospace cleanliness standards.

  • Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings, wiring diagrams,: schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.

  • Identify, document, and communicate any non-conformances or build issues to engineering and quality teams.

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers, quality assurance, and: design teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and update documentation.

  • Maintain accurate build records and ensure full traceability of parts and: workmanship consistent with aerospace standards.

What they're looking for

  • Perform functional testing on avionics assemblies to verify compliance with: specifications and document all results.
  • Assist in polymeric process applications such as potting, encapsulation,: bonding, and conformal coating on electronic assemblies and harness terminations.
  • Conduct conformal coating touch-ups on PCBAs, including masking, application,: curing, and inspection in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing assembly: efficiency, quality, and process repeatability.
