What you'll do
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of strong full-stack and frontend engineers.: Help them grow to the next level and continuously provide them opportunities to develop.
Own delivery for the Experimentation App from planning through production,: balancing speed with quality in a fast-paced environment.
Set technical direction in partnership with your team and our statistics: engineers, engaging credibly on architecture and tradeoffs.
Partner with Product, Design, and customers directly to shape requirements: and turn customer and sales input into roadmap.
Foster a culture of fast iteration and high engineering standards through: code reviews, design reviews, and blameless postmortems.
Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent as the team scales.
What they're looking for
- years experience as a people manager, or as a technical leader with strong: mentorship skills. Ideally you have experience in career development, performance management, tracking and optimizing team velocity, and hiring.
- + years experience building and shipping software, with a strong technical: background that lets you engage credibly on architecture and tradeoffs even if you are no longer writing most of the code.
- Experience shipping products in a fast-paced environment, comfortable: balancing speed with quality and making decisions with customer input as a primary signal.
- You are energized by ambiguity and a large roadmap, and you can help your: team prioritize and sequence work to deliver consistently.
