Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.

What you'll do

  • Own the month-end and quarter-end close for inventory and cost of goods sold,: including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis

  • Drive process and systems improvement: own inventory transaction discipline (receipts, consumption, scrap, adjustments), and report performance to business leadership.

  • Oversee inventory valuation, and excess, obsolete, and lower-of-cost-or-market reserve analyses

  • Oversee inventory accounting for battery energy storage systems (BESS),: including component and module costing, and valuation of completed systems held for sale or deployment

  • Partner with Operations, and FP&A to develop cost models and support product margin, and production analyses

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over inventory and costing: processes and support external audit requests

What they're looking for

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of cost accountants and analysts, and drive: process and ERP system improvements within the function
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
  • + years of progressive accounting experience, including inventory and cost: accounting in a manufacturing environment, with prior experience leading or supervising others
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP as applied to inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis
