What you'll do
Partner with Product and Design to build and execute on a long-term roadmap
Work closely with cross-functional partners and other engineering teams to: expand what's possible with the application of AI to creative problems
Hire, manage, support and develop a team of engineers, including staff level engineers
Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a: positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization
Contribute to and help shape the growth of the Weave engineering organization as it scales
Play an active role in building an inclusive team culture through hiring: practices, mentorship, and cross-team community programs
What they're looking for
- + years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager
- Ability to think strategically about engineering and product roadmaps, on: both short and longer term time horizons
- Hands-on technical experience, you have built complex products and systems as: an individual contributor, and can represent the technical details of work shipped by the team you've managed
- Proven leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged: engineering team, including an established track record of motivating, mentoring, and guiding senior engineers, and hiring top industry talent
