The opportunity

The Launched Effects team at Anduril is responsible for scaling the manufacturing and delivery of the ALTIUS family of systems (including the ALTIUS-600 and ALTIUS-700). As the premier Air-Launched Effects (ALE) platform for the U.

What you'll do

  • Design fixtures, jigs, shop aids, and material handling devices to assist in: current production as well as future production

  • Develop mechanical designs for automated equipment and testers

  • Interface with Technicians and Product Design Engineers to develop design requirements

  • Own designs from concept to final delivery on production floor

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues on the production floor

  • + years of mechanical design experience

What they're looking for

  • Proficient in CAD design
  • Proficient with standard hand tooling, and able to assemble and repair equipment
  • Solid understanding of tolerances and how to design equipment and tooling: that allow product to meet specified tolerances
  • Ability to self-lead work with little oversight
