The opportunity
Location: 5491 Timberlea Blvd.
What you'll do
Using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals conduct machine: calibration, centerlining and minor preventative maintenance.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on machinery and equipment: by identifying malfunctions, adjusting settings, and replacing minor faulty parts as needed to ensure safe operation and minimize downtime. Collaborate with the Maintenance team on major repairs and component replacements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the availability of all raw: materials, packaging, and consumables necessary to execute the production plan on time and in full.
Assist with supervision, coordination, and scheduling of production: associates, machine operators, and automation technicians to support efficient and consistent manufacturing operations.
Monitor execution of the production plan, address operational challenges, and: implement measures to improve productivity and performance; communicate required plan adjustments to stakeholders.
Assist with communicating goals, targets, and operational updates to: associates and leadership, while coordinating shift activities, monitoring performance, and escalating production or personnel issues as needed.
What they're looking for
- Train and onboard new associates on manufacturing equipment, ensuring: understanding of job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and report workplace: hazards or unsafe conditions to supervision or management.
- Operate material handling equipment such as walkies and stackers to move and position materials as required.
- Complete required documentation and administrative reports in a timely and accurate manner.
