What you'll do

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on paint shop mechanical systems: such as conveyors, roller beds pumps, spray booths, Air handling units, ovens, robotic peripherals, turntables, and skids.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, breakdowns, and abnormal equipment behavior.

  • Conduct predictive maintenance activities using vibration analysis,: thermography, and condition monitoring techniques.

  • Replace or repair worn components including bearings, seals, belts, chains,: gearboxes, and mechanical assemblies.

  • Assist with installation, alignment, setup, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.

  • Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and approved modifications.

What they're looking for

  • Verify proper mechanical operation before handover to production.
  • Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns to restore equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Use technical manuals, drawings, and schematics to identify root causes of failures.
  • Work closely with electrical and automation technicians for integrated system troubleshooting.
