What you'll do
Own the introduction of configuration management decisions in the production: system at Quonset and the follow-on impacts across multiple sites
Champion the DFM/DFX/DFA of existing production designs into the development pipeline
Collaborate with leadership on to prevent engineering team scope creep to: facilitate the on-schedule release of new and/or improved designs
Design, implement, and continuously improve a standardized knowledge transfer: framework between multiple production sites and multiple new product development site, including checklists, templates, communication plans, and stage-gate reviews.
Coordinate cross-functional activities, ensuring engineering, supply chain,: quality, and production deliverables are completed on time.
For assigned NPI programs, serve as the primary point of contact of the: Quonset site for all knowledge transfer activities.
What they're looking for
- Experience in the defense or aerospace industry with a strong understanding: of its rigorous quality and documentation requirements.
- Experience administering or architecting knowledge management systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, PLM).
- Experience working with international teams and navigating cultural differences.
